Copper thieves strike East Kentucky Power’s Balltown substation
Wednesday, April 20, 2011, 2:56 p.m. — Police were called to the East Kentucky Power Co-op substation off the Balltown Connector to take a theft report regarding some missing copper and copper wiring. Salt River Electric representatives were reportedly already at the scene.
