U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie addresses the members of NARFE Chapter 1050 recently at a recent meeting.
Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014 — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 1050 recently hosted U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie to discuss governmental issues affecting Kentuckians and all Federal Employees.
Congressman Guthrie covered the status of his efforts on topics such as Federal Employees’ retirement, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid program expenses, sequestration, postal reform, and the future of Fort Knox.
The next NARFE meeting is 11 a.m. Sept. 8, 2014, at the Nolin RECC conference room in Elizabethtown. The guest speaker is Cathy Williamson of the Better Business Bureau.
