Obituary: Linda Kay Edlin Fisher, 66, Elizabethtown

Linda Kay Edlin Fisher, 66, of Elizabethtown, went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014. fun_angelShe was a Christian and a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress for 36 years at E’town Sportswear and upon it’s closing, she gained employment with Nationwide Uniform in Hodgenville until her retirement in 2013. She loved her dog Tippy, camping, cooking, cross-stitching, family reunions and most of all she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Stoy Edlin, Sr.; one sister, Margaret Edlin Lyle; and one brother, Boyd Lindsey Edlin.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Billy Ray Fisher; her mother, Virginia Wiseman Edlin; three sisters, Etzel Stopher (Gary), Libby Mullins (Randy) and Caroline Cline (Robert), all of Elizabethtown; three brothers, Leonard Stoy Edlin, Jr. (Patty) and Shirley Joe Edlin, both of Elizabethtown and Randall Edlin of Bardstown; nine nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Youngers Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Lewis officiating.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Kappel Funeral Home in Boston.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
