One injured when bus rear-ends at Springfield Road & Poplar Flat

Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, 12:20 p.m. — A 47-year-old woman suffered minor injuries Monday morning when the vehicle she was operating was struck from behind by a school bus. The accident was reported at 11:42 a.m. and took place at the intersection of Springfield Road and Poplar Flat Road, KY 605. There were no children on the bus at the time of the accident. The woman was transported by Nelson County EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital complaining of neck and back pain.
