Obituary: William David Comley Jr., 75, Boston

William David Comley Jr., 75, of Boston, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a retired employee of Barton’s Distillery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William David and Carrie Cash Comley; and one brother, Jackie Comley.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce Doan Comley; three sons, David Comley (Songia), Tony Comley (Linda) and Tim Comley (Linda); two sisters, Ann Riggs (Tommy) and Brenda Grow; two brothers, Mike Comley (Rhonda) and Chester Comley (Mary); one sister-in-law, Frances Comley; one brother-in-law, Stan Doan (Pattie); three grandchildren, Amy Comley, Nikki Clemons and Amanda Comley; two stepgrandchildren, Jerimiah Hawkins and Jessica Vincent; four great-grandchildren, Destiny Comley, Deanna Comley, Cerice Comley and Hunter Vittitow; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Johanna Vincent and Justin Vincent; and his special angel, Leonda Lands.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Kappel Funeral Home in Boston with the Rev. Chuck Waters officiating. Burial is in the Mount Moriah Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at the funeral home.
