She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rose Richardson; her paternal great-grandfather, Felix Kahafer; one great-aunt, Carolyn Rogers; one uncle, James Hamilton; and one cousin, Joseph Gabriel Newkirk.
She is survived by her parents, Michael and Terrie Richardson Newkirk of New Haven,
one sister, Ashleigh Rose Marie Newkirk; one brother, Michael Hayden; paternal grandparents, Michael and Benita Newkirk of Boston; maternal grandfather, Earl Richardson of Willisburg; paternal great-grandparents, Joseph and Delores Miles and Betty Kahafer, all of Louisville; and aunts and uncles, Pamela Newkirk (Jeremy), Cheyanna Newkirk, Joseph Hamilton, Earl Richardson Jr. and Jessica Phillips.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven, with burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Bardstown.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
