Obituary: Larry LeRoy Johnson, 68, Bardstown
Larry LeRoy Johnson, 68, of Bardstown, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born July 22, 
1946, in LaGrange to the late John Batts and Lucy Marie Grey Johnson. He attended The People’s Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores “Dee” Nation Johnson; one son, Russell Burgin; and several brother and sisters.
He is survived by five daughters, Angela Johnson and Lynn Longino, both of Bardstown, Lisa Burgin and Jackie Murphy, both of Shelbyville, and Paula Spurgeon of Mount Washington; three sons, Steven Neal of Bardstown, John Burgin of Shelbyville, and Eddie Johnson of Charlestown, Ind.; one brother, Frank Johnson of Jeffersonville, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family respected his wishes for cremation. A memorial service is 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at The People’s Church in Bardstown.
