Obituary: Missy Ritchie, 47, Cox’s Creek

MISSY RITCHIE

Missy Ritchie, 47, of Cox’s Creek, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1966, in Bardstown and she was a member of Second Baptist Church of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Ritchie.

She is survived by her mother, Geneva Ritchie of Chaplin; two sisters, Beverly Bartley (Joe) of Loretta and Julie Thacker (Harold) of Chaplin; one brother, Jimmy Ritchie of Bardstown; her companion, Teddy Mattingly; several nieces and nephews. and a special friend, Judy Burns.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Highview Cemetery. The Rev. Calvin Holloway will officiate.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go towards funeral expenses.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
