AGNES PEARL HUTCHINS DURBIN

Agnes Pearl Hutchins Durbin, 84, of New Haven, died Sept. 23, 2014, at her home. She was born May 23, 1930, in Bardstown. She was a Catholic by faith and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church where she was an Eucharistic Minister. She was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of TOPS, the National Motor Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the National Rifle Association and the AARP.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee “Bud” Durbin Jr.; her parents, William Alfred “Willie” Hutchins Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth Parent Hutchins; five sisters, Mae Rinaldi, Sr. Mary Jane “Ruth” Hutchins, Theresa “Pat” Walters, Rose Jackson and Jane Puckett; and two brothers, Paul Hutchins and Chester Hutchins.

She is survived by six daughters, Gloria Beck (Jimmy) and Beci Allender (Greg), both of New Haven, Susan Willett (Ron) and Libby Fife (Rickey), both of Loretto, Lea Dyer (Ken) of Whitleyville Tenn., and Judi Bradbury (Jack) of Herndon; two sons, Alan Durbin (Lisa) of New Haven and Mark Durbin (May Lou) of Bardstown; one sister, Ann Cecil of New Haven; four brothers, Alfred Hutchins (Mary) of Bardstown, Joe Hutchins of Brooks, Leo Hutchins of Palm Bay, Fla., and Gilbert Hutchins (Stella) of Gravel Switch; 17 grand children; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday Sept. 27, 2014, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Hopper officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
