Facebook video post helps police ID suspect in Save-A-Lot store theft

Security video posted on the Bardstown Police Department Facebook page helped identify a suspect in a theft from the Bardstown Save-A-Lot store.

Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 — Security camera video posted on the Bardstown Police’s social media page led to the arrest Wednesday of a Bardstown woman wanted in connection to thefts at the Bardstown Save-A-Lot store.

The police department video posted Tuesday on its Facebook page led to several tips that identified a woman in the video as Terri M. Garrido, 39, of Bardstown. On Wednesday, Detective Jason Woodson arrested Garrido at her State Street home.

At the time of her arrest, Garrido was in possession of a stolen cell phone which was recovered.

Garrido was charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500. She was lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
