ROBERT F. ‘BOB’ WALLACE

Robert F. “Bob” Wallace, Jr., 83, of Bardstown, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown. He was a native of Louisville and retired from the Courier-Journal as a maintenance electrician. He was a member of the I.B.E.W.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wallace; one sister, Kitty Barker; and two grandchildren; Wendy and Wally.

He is survived by three daughters, Beth Griffith (Walter) of Louisville, Becky Hopkins of Sarasota, Fla., and Bina Wallace of Bardstown; two sons, Bobby Wallace (Brenda) of Bardstown and Billy Wallace (Kim) of Shepherdsville; five grandchildren, Bridget, Bo, Nicole, Nick and Casey; and three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Samuel and Kingston.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
