Obituary: Christine Head Browne, 87, Lebanon

Christine Head Browne, 87, of Lebanon, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Spring View Hospital. She was born June 19, 1927, in Louisville. She was a member of Lebanon United Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Browne Sr; her parents, Benjamin H. and Lucille McLain Browne; one sister, Martha Head; and one brother, Wilmer Head.

Survivors include one son, Lewis E. Browne of Lebanon; two daughters, Marsha Browne of Louisville and Ellen Thompson of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Jason Thompson and Joshua Thompson both of Bardstown; four great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon celebrated by the Rev. Peggy W. Birmingham. Burial is in the Lebanon National Cemetery.

Visitation is 7-10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014.

The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
