Obituary: Delores St. Clair, 76, Cox’s Creek

Delores St. Clair, 76, of Cox’s Creek, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at her home. She was born Oct. 15, 1937, in Nelson County. She was a homemaker and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

fun_angelShe was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl St. Clair; her parents, Maxwell and Mellie Watts St. Clair; one sister, Laverne Watts; her granddaughter, Brittany Renee St. Clair; and her companion, Jessie Lyvers.

She is survived by two sons, James Robert (Tracy) St. Clair of Cox’s Creek and Tom St. Clair of Bardstown; her grandchildren, Amanda St. Clair and Christopher St. Clair, both of Bardstown and Taylor (Matt) Foster and Shane St. Clair, both of Cox’s Creek; two brothers, Jim (Thelma) Watts of Bardstown and Bill (Diane) Watts of Cox’s Creek; two great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jonathan Gann will officiate.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to New Salem Baptist Church Building Fund and for the Cemetery Fund.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
