Obituary: Linda Duncan Carrier, 66, Bardstown

LINDA DUNCAN CARRIER

Linda Duncan Carrier, 66, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at her home. She was born July 1, 1948, in Bardstown, and a self-employed babysitter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel “Junior” Duncan Jr. & Anna Lorine Hutchins Duncan.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Carrier of Bardstown; one son, Roger Allen Carrier both of Bardstown; three sisters, Cathy (Jerry) Smith and June “Sissy” (Joe Gary) Ballard, both of Cox’s Creek, and Norma Jean Spalding of Bardstown; one brother, Hank (Betty) Duncan of Cox’s Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with a private burial in the Bardstown Cemetery at a later date. Pastor Doug Lutes will officiate.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to American Cancer Society.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
