Norma Ardella Judson, 90, Bardstown

Norma Ardella Judson, 90, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Colonial Health and Rehabilitation. She was born judson,-norma-mf1Jan. 15, 1924, in Nelson County to the late Bernard L. and Theresa Dones Ritchie. She was a former employee of Barton’s Distillery for 29 years and a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Judson Sr.; one son, Richard W. Judson; and one grandson, Joseph A. “Trey” Judson III.

She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn “Merle” (John) Pryse of Clinton, Tenn., and Dell Judson Link of Lexington; one son, Joseph A. “Joe’ Judson Jr. of Bardstown; one brother, Vernon Ritchie of Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Jodi Pryse ( Walker) Nowell, Elizabeth Pryse (Whit) McCrary, Scott Kemper, Lori (Scott) Ingler, Judson (Judd) Link, Bryan Judson and Rorie Judson; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Lowery officiating. Burial is in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
