EMS, police respond Thursday evening to reported suicide attempt

Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, 1 a.m. — Nelson County EMS was called Thursday evening to an address on Wheeler Road for a man who apparently cut his wrist in a suicide attempt. EMS and two Nelson County sheriff’s deputies responded to the call at 6:45 p.m. EMS transported the man to Flaget Memorial Hospital with a cut to his right arm.
