Obituary: Joyce Catherine Nelson, 61, Campbellsville
Joyce Catherine Nelson, 61, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at her home. She was born June 5, 1953, in 
Clarksville, Ind., to the late George Calvin and Theresa Lampkin Lewis. She was an employee of Grand View Nursing and Rehab Center in Campbellsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gary Keith Nelson.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Perkins (Matt) of Knifley; one son, Timmie Nelson of Campbellsville; four sisters, Betty Smith (Bradley) of Harrodsburg, Jeannie Whitlock (Ronnie) of Fairfield, Penny Warner (Terry) of Mackville and Debbie Worford (Dwight) of Chaplin; and one grandson, Caydin Perkins.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at the Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Bro. Shaun Caudill officiating. Burial is in the Highview Cemetery at Chaplin.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Green River.
The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
