Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 — The Old Kentucky Home School Class of 1966 will have their 17th annual get-together, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at Ryan’s on Mulberry St., US62, in Elizabethtown. Classmates, whether graduating with the class or not, as well as other interested persons are invited to attend.
The Old Kentucky Home School building still stands at the corner of Muir and First Street. It now belongs to the City of Bardstown and is still being used for educating Nelson County children. One of the several activities going on in the building is Bardstown Head Start for early preschool-aged children – some of whom may be grandchildren or great-grandchildren of the OKHS Class of 1966.
