Obituary: Charles Cloyd Brady, 89, St. Joe

Charles Cloyd Brady, 89, of St. Joe, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Baptist Hospital East. He was born March 26, 1925, in St. Joe. He was a retired farmer, logger, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon.

funeral_flowerHe was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Rose Medley Brady; his parents, Benjamin Francis and Cora Lee Stepp Brady; two sisters, Eunice Brady and Lottie Brady Shaw; two brothers, Phillip Brady and Wilbur Brady.

Survivors include four sisters, Cordie Smith of Springfield, Catherine Medley and Bernadine Spalding, both of Bardstown and Theresa Shaw of Fort Myers, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon with burial in the St. Joe Church Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Children’s Hospital.

The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
