Obituary: Richard Louis Kirzinger, Sr., 87, Lebanon

Richard Louis Kirzinger, Sr., 87, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at his home. He was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Chicago. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II and was a retired mechanical engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Theodore and Katherine Nell Peed Kirzinger; and one son, Richard Louis Kirzinger, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Hamrick Kirzinger of Lebanon; one daughter, Katherine Nedra Kirzinger of Lebanon; two sons, James Andrew (Kim Higdon) Kirzinger of Springfield, Robert Allen (Cyndi Kollios) Kirzinger, of Boston, Mass.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at the Lebanon National Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Karl Lusk.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.

The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
