EMS, police respond Thursday to reported suicide attempt

Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, 1:20 p.m. — Nelson County EMS and police responded to a reported suicide attempt at a home on Farmaway Drive early at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Individuals at the scene worked to control the bleeding from what was described as a self-inflicted cut on the arm. EMS transported a 39-year-old man to Flaget Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
