Cox’s Station NSDAR, KYSSAR to mark Capt. Robert Samuels’ grave Nov. 1

Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 — Cox’s Station Chapter, NSDAR and Gov. Isaac Shelby Chapter, KYSSAR will participate in a commemorative marking of the grave of Captain Robert Samuels at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 2775 Deatsville Road. A musical tribute ceremony sponsored by Cox’s Station will follow at the cemetery flag pole for the Vietnam veterans buried at New Salem: James E. Bean, Joseph Culver, and Barry N. Thompson. Family, friends, and the public are invited to both ceremonies.
