Additional write-in candidates enter races; filing deadline is 4 p.m. today

Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 — Additional candidates have filed with the Nelosn County Clerk’s Office as write-in candidates in the Nov. 4th General Election.
SOIL & WATER DISTRICT SUPERVISOR. Boston resident Ricky Humphrey filed Tuesday as a write-in candidate for soil and water conservation district supervisor.
Cox’s Creek resident Chuck Wathen filed in September as a write-in candidate for soil and water conservation district supervisor.
NEW HAVEN MAYOR. Charles R. Lemons of New Haven filed Thursday as a candidate for mayor of New Haven.
BLOOMFIELD CITY COUNCIL. Earlier this month, Sue An Case of Bloomfield filed as a write-in candidate for the Bloomfield City Council.
The deadline to file as a write-in candidate in the Nov. 4 election is 4 p.m. today.
A full summary of candidates and ballots will be published on the Gazette after today’s filing deadline has passed.
