Letter: Lear has been a ‘dedicated, responsible’ 4th District magistrate

To the editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your vote to re-elect Jeff Lear. He has proven himself to be a dedicated, responsible letter-to-the-editorrepresentative for the 4th District.

This past year I had the misfortune of being challenged by the Joint City-County Planning and Zoning Commission, a battle I did not want nor was prepared to fight. With Mr. Lear’s support and guidance, I not only survived, I won my battle. He kept a very non-biased opinion (he did not always agree with my thought process). He was always very informed and helped to to understand a very complex set of rules and ordinances.

He has extensive knowledge of local and county government and of ordinances, mostly, in part, due to more than 160 hours of training he has received, none of which were required. That he trains above and beyond goes to show how serious he is toward being education so he can represent his district to the very best of his ability.

He is honest and fair, and very well respected by the other members of Nelson Fiscal Court. Being the owner of Bardstown Internet gives Mr. Lear insight into the needs of the business community of District 4. He’s very easy to talk to, and would like to hear any concerns or issues you may have.

But actions speak louder than words. Do your own research. Check out his website, www.Lear4Magistrate.com. See what his voting record is on specific issues. Once you have done your homework, it will be clear Jeff Lear is the best choice for 4th District magistrate.
