Joseph Berry Boone, 53, of Howardstown, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at his home.
JOSEPH BERRY BOONE
He was a lifelong resident of Howardstown, a Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church. He was the owner of Boone’s Construction, Homebuilding and Excavation. He also was a former employee of Bird & Son in Bardstown. He was an avid rabbit and squirrel hunter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albertus Leon “Punch” Boone.
He is survived by his loving wife, Andie Masterson Boone of Howardstown; two daughters, Kaylyn Boone and Karah Boone, both of Bowling Green; his mother, Mary Huberta Boone of Hodgenville; one brother, Bryant Boone of Bloomfield Ind.; two sisters, Joyce Boone Monacelli (Bobby) of Hackettstown N.J. and Georjean Boone Cecil (Eric), of Pendleton, Ind.; one niece, Madison Cecil; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends.
The funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Howardstown with the Rev. Ken Fortener officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, and 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven.
