JAMES ROGER “JIM” WARD

James Roger “Jim” Ward, 67, of Boston, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at his home. He was co-owner with his wife J&B’s At Your Service Heating & Cooling. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He was born Feb. 3, 1947, in Louisville, the son of the late John R. and Naomi Ruth Cooper Ward. He was Cubmaster of Pack 617 of Boston and Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 721 in Bardstown.

He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Barnes Ward of Boston; two daughters, Kimberly Ward (Steve) Skees of Boston and Karen (Brian) McKinney of Bardstown; two son, Adam Wayne Ward of Magnolia and Donald (Holli Anne) Ward of Cox’s Creek; two brothers, Edward Ward of Boston and Stephen (Syble) Ward of Mount Washington; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Boston Chapel, 12783 Boston Rd., Boston with Chaplain Terry Troutman officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Boston Chapel in Boston is in charge of the arrangements.
