Letter: Writer ‘unfairly attacked’ Trzop’s faith, family & military service
To the editor,
Desperate people do desperate things. We have two candidates who are facing the strong reality of losing their power and influence, money and lifestyle and ability to manipulate people. Any person can understand and appreciate their fear. Today I read an ugly letter to the editor written by Mills Young. Young attacked Peter Trzop’s faith, his family, and his military service. In Mills Young’s letter to the editor, he said, “Go to the VA hospital and you will see true heroes of war.” He will see Pete Trzop because I have sat behind him at the VA Hospital while he received treatment for his injuries on active duty that have made him a 100% Disabled American Veteran. I do not think either of his opponents have every served a day. So using Mr. Youngs standard, I will go with Pete. He is a true American hero, and that is who I will vote for in this election. As a retired Command Master Chief United States Navy, I know Pete to be a great guy who serves veterans, their families and the local community.
