First Cedar Creek Baptist Church revival set to begin this Sunday morning
Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 — The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church will have revival themed “Reach Out 2014” beginning Sunday, Nov. 9 through Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014.
“Reach Out 2014” IS for all ages, and begins this Sunday with High Attendance Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. The morning worship service begins at 11 a.m. Childcare is available during the worship service and children ages 4-7, may go to children’s church during the last half of the service.
Children’s Night will feature “Candy Land,” for ages 6-12 Sunday evening at 5 p.m. with games, a bounce house, a hot dog supper, and … candy. At 6 p.m., children, parents, and others are invited to gather in the sanctuary for more activities geared toward children.
Youth Night for teenagers is 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10. Games include ‘Minute to Win It’, with prizes, followed by a pizza party. At 7 p.m., youth, parents, and others are invited to worship activities in the sanctuary where a youth praise band will present special music.
Family Night begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, with soup, sandwiches, and desserts. Following the meal, at 7 p.m., all will gather in the sanctuary for “Pack a Pew” – a fun time to see who invited the most people.
Main Event Night begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, with a meal comprised of New York strip steaks from Boone’s, baked potatoes, green beans, and desserts. All who attend will receive a meal. Please RSVP to 502-348-3832 by Tuesday, Nov. 10 if you plan to attend so food preparation will be adequate. At 7 p.m. all are invited to gather in the sanctuary.
Bro. Ron Davis will be the guest speaker for each service. Bro. Davis is a former pastor of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church in Cecilia. He currently is the evangelical minister at Vine Hill Baptist Church near Clermont.
An invitation to “Reach Out 2014” is extended to everyone. Activities and meals for “Reach Out 2014” are free to those attending. A love offering for the evangelist will be received at each evening worship service.
