Lightning strike prompts fire department run to Wheeler Road
Friday, April 22, 2001, 6:01 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 1300 block of Wheeler Road for a home that may have been struck by lightning. Residents of the home smelled smoke. Firefighters investigated and found no evidence of fire or fire damage. Firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes.
