Obituary: Jeffrey ‘Coach Rob’ Robbins, 48, Lebanon
Jeffrey “Coach Rob” Robbins, 48, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014. He was born April 4, 1966, in Middlesboro. He was an educator and was best known as “Coach Rob” as the head football coach for Marion County High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Helen Davis Robbins.
Survivors include his wife, Tatum Michelle Robbins of Lebanon; one daughter, Lindsi Robbins of Calvary; four sons, Blaine Robbins of Harrogate, Tenn., Austin Robbins and Hayden Robbins, both of Calvary, and Dylan Robbins of Lebanon; three sisters, Sharon Grabeel of Rose Hill, Va., Carol Malicoat of Clairfield, Tenn. and Stephanie Bingham of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Lebanon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chris Howlett and Rev. Matthew Robbins officiating. Burial is in the Ryder Cemetery.
Visitation is after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at Bosley Funeral Home, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made toward Coach Rob’s Children’s College Funds.
