Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, 2:45 p.m. — A 27-year-old Bardstown man was arrested Tuesday morning after police located where he was hiding by tracking his footprints in the snow.

Michael A. Cotton was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and second-degree burglary after a police investigation of the burglary of a Kenton Drive storage shed. Police tracked Cotton to 1281 South Rogan Drive where they found him sleeping inside a white Mitsubishi vehicle covered with a tarp.
