Nelson County EMS responds to reported Deatsville Road overdose

Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 — Nelson County EMS responded to a report of a possible overdose Wednesday evening just after 8 p.m. in the 6000 block of Deatsville Road. A caller reported that a 30-year-old woman was unresponsive after an apparent overdose of heroin. EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The woman was transported by EMS to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
