Bardstown man dies in early morning crash in Woodford County

Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, 4:30 p.m. — A Bardstown man was killed early Sunday morning in a single vehicle crash on the Bluegrass Parkway in Woodford County.
WKYT in Lexington is reporting that Jaylin La’Bryant Tonge, 20, of Bardstown was pronounced dead at the accident scene by the Woodford County coroner.
According to the Versailles Police Department, Tonge was driving a 2004 Chevy Avalanche westbound on the parkway near the 67 mile marker when the vehicle ran off the roadway into the median and overturned. Tonge and his passenger where thrown from the vehicle. The passenger, whose name and injuries were not released, was taken to University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment.
The accident happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday.
