JAYLIN LABRANT TONGE
Jaylin LaBryant Tonge, 20, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, in Woodford County. He was born May 4, 1994, in Bardstown. He was an employee for Johnan America, a 2012 graduate of Bardstown High School and a member of Second Baptist Church of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his father, Brian Tonge; one sister, Jaden Tonge; his maternal great-grandfather, Joseph Hughes; and two paternal great-grandmothers, Eleanora Jacobs and Mary Lynn Stone.
He is survived by his mother, Demitra (Charles) Newby; one brother, Javon Newby; his maternal grandmother, Catherine Elizabeth Hughes; his maternal grandfather, Donnie Calbert of Bardstown; his paternal grandparents, James and Janet Tonge of Bardstown; his maternal great-grandmother, Catherine Eugene Hughes of Bardstown; three aunts, Kalista (Larry) Hughes-Hester, Christina Hughes, and Marie VanCleave; three uncles, James (Melissa) Tonge, Michael Perkins, and Jerome Dixon; and several cousins.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Parkway Baptist Church of Bardstown with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. Bro. Calvin Holloway will officiate.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, and 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home.
