Obituary: Robert Tilden ‘Bobby’ Hourigan, 77, Lebanon
Robert Tilden “Bobby” Hourigan, 77, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Spring View Hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1937, in Marion County. He was a retired member of International Union of Operating Engines 181 for 46 years and was a part-time farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tilden and Lucille Hays Hourigan; an infant son, Steven Michael Hourigan; four brothers, Dee Hourigan, Jerry Hourigan, George Hourigan and J.L. Hourigan; and four sisters, Margaret Payne, Fayrene Conder, Thelma Spalding, and Wanelle Shircliff.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Frances Walls Hourigan of Lebanon;
two sons, Lonnie (Sue) Hourigan of Lebanon and Ronnie (Betty) Hourigan of Nicholasville; one daughter, Stephanie Hourigan Nalley of Prospect;
five sisters, Juanita (Bob) Hodgen of Springfield, Theresa (Gerald) Robson of Fern Creek, Loretta (Dan) Calitt of Indianapolis, Lorraine (Gary) Morgan of Perryville, and Linda Hourigan of Gravel Switch; three brothers, Eugene (Roberta) Hourigan and Fred (Brenda) Hourigan, both of Gravel Switch, and Larry (Betty) Hourigan of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Jay, Cameron, Leslie, Lorie, Danielle, and Ashley; and five great-grandchildren, Cody, Brian, Jase, Carley, and Korie.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. John Simpson officiating. Burial is in the Old Liberty Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at the funeral home.
