Obituary: Alice O. Patterson, 96, Bardstown
Alice O. Patterson, 96, of Bardstown, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born Dec. 11, 
1917, in Loretto. She attended St. Helena Business College and served as a secretary for Waterfill and Frazier Distillery and for Nazareth. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.R. and Georgia Lyon Patterson; one sister, Jessie P. Smith; and one brother, Robert Patterson.
She is survived by two sisters, Edith Kaelin of Bardstown and Louise Shoemaker of Portland, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at The Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. Bill Hammer officiating.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, and 10 a.m.-12:14 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
