Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, 10 a.m. — Three Bardstown women were arrested about midnight Thursday night at a home on Olympia Drive on drug and child endangerment charges in the wake of a drug investigation by the Bardstown Police.
Krista L. Peake, 22, Shanna M. Peake, 23, and Phyllis Hall, 48, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs and endangering the welfare of a minor. The women were lodged in the Nelson County Jail.
The arrests came after police responded to complaints of narcotics trafficking from the home at 156 Olympia Drive. Member of the Bardstown Police Flex Team, along with the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office and the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, executed a search warrant at the home late Thursday night.
The search turned up drug paraphernalia, marijuana, “spice,” a synthetic type of marijuana, and some unidentified prescription pills that had been melted.
Police called in Child Protective Services for the child living in the home to do dog feces and other hazards in the home. The child was placed with a relative. The women bonded out of jail Friday at 11:30 a.m., according to records at the Nelson County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing, and police ask individuals with information about this incident contact Bardstown Police, (502) 348-6811 or Nelson County Dispatch, (502) 348-3211.
