Teenager taken to hospital after possible overdose at high school

Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, 2 p.m. — A 16-year-old boy at Nelson County High School was taken to Flaget Memorial Hospital Monday afternoon after he admitted to taking an quantity of an unknown medication. Nelson County EMS was dispatched to the school at 1:26 p.m. for a report of a possible overdose. The medicine was described as small round pills with a “A” on them. The boy did not know the name of medication. The youth was transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
