Obituary: Anthony Earl ‘Pie’ Raley, 89, Lebanon
Anthony Earl “Pie” Raley, 89, of Lebanon, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at the Village of Lebanon. He was born April 7, 1925, in Calvary. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavon Hardin Raley; his parents, Francis Louis, Sr. and Mary Ollie Mattingly Raley; three sisters, Josephine Daugherty, Gertrude Wicker, Edna Mattingly; and four brothers, Joe Raley, Sherman Raley, Louis Raley and Bill Raley.
Survivors include one sister, Louise Medley of Springfield; a special friend, Mary Dean Caldwell of Lebanon; and friends Mark and Shelley Murphy and Marvin and Caitlin Murphy, all of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at St. Rose Catholic Church with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
