One person injured early Tuesday in two-vehicle parkway crash

Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, 9:45 a.m. — One person was injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle injury accident in the westbound lanes of the Bluegrass Parkway at the 10 mile marker.

Nelson County EMS, police and the Boston Fire Department were dispatched to the crash location at 6:57 a.m. The accident closed both westbound lanes of the parkway until the vehicles could be moved. Police on the scene reported one possible patient, a woman complaining of head and neck injuries. The victim was transported by EMS to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment.
