Obituary: Roger Scott Newton, 41, Shepherdsville

Roger Scott Newton, 41, of Shepherdsville, died at his home. He was an employee of Ford Motor Company and a member of the U.A.W. #862.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Katie Wills.

Survivors include his parents, Ann Newton and Roger Lewis Newton (Carla Throop); his brother, Rob Newton and grandparents, Lewis and Lucille Newton.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Jason McCray officiating. Burial is in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, and after 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the funeral home.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
