Faulty electrical outlet prompts response by Bardstown Fire Dept.

Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, 11:05 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was dispatched Wednesday night to a home in the 2600 block of Old Nazareth Road for a possible electrical fire. Firefighters responded to the call at about 9:26 p.m. and determined a faulty outlet was the problem. The outlet was removed and the wiring left safely protected, and the resident was advised to have the outlet replaced.
