Male victim, 22, flown to Louisville hospital suffering from stab wounds

Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, 11:30 p.m. — A 22-year-old man was flown by helicopter to a Louisville hospital Friday night after he was stabbed in his chest during an altercation.
Nelson County EMS and Bardstown Police were dispatched at 10:07 p.m. to the Save A Lot parking lot entrance for a 22-year-old male victim driving a silver Chevrolet Impala with a stab wound. EMS transported the victim to the Flaget Memorial Hospital helipad where they were met by a medical helicopter. The victim, with a stab wound in his lower right side and other minor wounds, was flown to University Hospital in Louisville for treatment.
Police impounded the victim’s vehicle and are investigating the incident.
