Burnt food prompts lunch-hour fire alarm at Nazareth Village

fireshieldSunday, Dec. 14, 2014, 2:30 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called Sunday afternoon to the Nazareth Village I on Village Drive on the Nazareth campus for an active fire alarm. Firefighters were called to respond to the commercial alarm at about 12:45 p.m. The apartment complex was evacuated when firefighters arrived. They determined the cause of the alarm was burnt food on the stove. The alarm was reset. Firefighters were on scene for about 10 minutes.
