Obituary: Ellen ‘Luann’ Epperson, 77, Bardstown
ELLEN “LUANN” EPPERSON
Ellen “Luann” Epperson, 77, of Bardstown, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Middlesboro. She was the former vice president of trust department at Liberty National Bank, a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro, and a former member of the Red Hatters.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Vacie Acuff Hubble.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Epperson of Bardstown; one daughter, Lydia Piles (Joe) of Bardstown; one son, Donnie Epperson (Brenda) of Louisville; three brothers, Tedd Hubble of Cleveland, Tenn., Hobart Hubble of Ewing, Va. and Garry Hubble of Middlesboro; two grandchildren, Bradley Piles and Chad Piles, both of Bardstown; and several nieces.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in the Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Eddie Benton will officiate.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go towards the American Cancer Association and the American Heart Association.
The Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
