Obituary: Delores Devine, 70, Bardstown

Delores Devine, 70, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Lebanon. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. “Jim” Devine; her mother, Lucille Rakes; and one sister, Anne Green.

She is survived by three children, Stephanie Greenwell, Tamara Mackin and Jamie Devine, all of Bardstown; two sisters, Eva Newton and Teresa Rakes, both of Bardstown; three brothers, Jerry Rakes of Bardstown, Bobby Rakes of North Carolina and Jimmy Rakes of Indiana; and four grandchildren, Trevor Greenwell, Maranda Devine, Dalton Devine and Lorna Devine.

The funeral is 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at Barlow Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Rutland officiating. Burial in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at the funeral home.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
