Obituary: Daniel Butler ‘D.B.’ Crady, 91, Boston
Daniel Butler “D.B.” Crady, 91, of Boston, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was a native of LaRue County who worked for the Mitchell Oil Company and retired from Beam’s Distillery. He was a member of Boston Christian Church where he was a retired elder.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Crady Whelan; his parents, Albert and Maude Edlin Crady; one sister, Faye Worful; and two brothers, Otis Crady and Marvin Crady.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Juanita Lloyd Crady; one daughter, Frances (Philip) Foster; one son, Daniel Lloyd (Lita) Crady; three grandchildren, Daniel Paul (Cari) Crady, Lori Beth Crady and Amber Foster (Chris) Hutchens; one step grandson, Dale (Mary) Gardner; two great-grandchildren, Tristen and Cooper Hutchens; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the chapel of the Kappel Funeral Home in Boston with Mike Bradford and Terry Troutman officiating. Burial is in the Boston Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the funeral home.
