Obituary: Harley Reagan Carter, 12, Bardstown
Harley Reagan Carter, 12, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, 2014, at Kosair’s Children Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Honolulu March 3, 2002. She was the daughter of Melanie (Isenberg) Hack and Jimmy Carter.
She was a 7th grade student at Bardstown Middle School. Her spunky personality made a lot friends during her life. She was not only a loving friend but a caring sibling as well. She enjoyed being around all animals. Every animal that she had was named after some type of food. This was because of her love of food. She liked to read, be in the water, using her electronics, being on her 4 wheeler/ATV, and she also had a love for arts and crafts. Her last gift to others was being an organ donor.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James Herman Carter.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Melanie and Billy Hack of Bardstown; her father and stepmother, Jimmy and Amanda Carter of Tompkinsville; her grandparents, Teresa Isenberg of Bardstown, Roger and Nancy Isenberg of Austin, and Chola Davis of Celina, Tenn.; her stepgrandparents, Tom and Mickey Hack of Celelia, Junior and Delma Smith, and Betty Jean Carter, all of Tompkinsville; one sister, Zoey Hack of Bardstown; two stepsisters, Sarah Hack and Sheryl Hack of Elizabethtown; one brother, Colton Carter of Tompkinsville; and one stepbrother, Tyler Hack of Bardstown.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, 510 West Fourth St., in Tompkinsville with Gary Emberton officiating. Burial is in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is after noon on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, and 6 a.m.- 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at the funeral home.
The Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
