Obituary: Charlie Leonard ‘Bubby’ Close, 61, formerly of Lebanon Junction
Charlie Leonard “Bubby” Close, 61, of Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Lebanon Junction, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, in 
Springfield, Ohio.
He was retired from Navistar International and was a member of the U.A.W. Local 402.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William “Perk” Close; and one sister, Mary Ethel Close.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Ann Martineau Close; three children, Leslie Carlton, Ashlee Schaaf and Brent Close; three stepchildren, Raven Tincher, Jesse Tincher and Jacob Tincher; his mother, Betty Close; five siblings, Betty Miller, Terry Close, Mona Bryan, Eddie Close and Debbie Etherton; four grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Lebanon Junction Wall Street Park.
