EMS responds early Thursday for injured man near Talbott Tavern

Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, 2 a.m. — Bardstown Police and Nelson County EMS responded at about 1 a.m. Thursday morning to the area of West Stephen Foster by the Talbott Tavern for a report of a 39-year-old male who was found down in the roadway. Police believed the man was intoxicated and may have been struck by a vehicle.  The extent of the victim’s injuries was unknown. EMS transported the victim to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
